Mini Sessions

Terms & Conditions


The scheduling of time slots will be done on a "first come, first served" basis. A time slot will not be considered scheduled until payment for the retainer/deposit has been made and checkout is complete.
Should inclement weather occur, a rain date of Sunday, October 9th will be available. If this does not work with your schedule, your $50.00 retiainer can be applied to any other full length session during the next 6 month period. Please see further details for instances of cancellations/emergencies under "Payment + Refunds" below.

Payment + Refunds

A $50.00 retainer will be required in order to reserve your timeslot. This amount will be paid online during the checkout process. The remaining $125.00 will then be due upon your arrival for your session and can be paid by cash, check made payable to Mel Anne Designs or Venmo.

Should unforeseen circumstances occur on your end of things (such as illness or another emergency), this $50.00 will be retained for a period of 6 months and then applied to a future full length session with Mel Anne Designs. If another session is not scheduled within this 6 month period, the retainer will be forfeited.


Should inclement weather (determined by the photographer) prevent the mini session from occuring, sessions will take place at the same time and place on Sunday, October 9th. If you are unable to make this rain date, the $50.00 retainer will then be held as in the instance above to be applied to a full length session of your choosing for a period of 6 months. If another session is not scheduled withing this 6 month period, the retainer will be forefeited.

Should unforeseen circumstances occur on my end of things which result in the need to cancel the mini session, the $50.00 will be refunded in full. Under no other circumstances will the retainer be refunded.

Client Responsibility

Please plan to arrive no later than 10 minutes prior to the start of your session. It is of the utmost importance that the morning/evening runs on time; therefore, please arrive "picture ready". Any client arriving more than 5 minutes after the start time for their session will be considered a "no show" and will forfeit his/her payment which has been made. If for any reason you are unable to make it to your scheduled session, please inform Mel Anne as soon as possible. If you are able to find another crew to take your place, please pass this information along as well. 


If anyone in your crew is feeling unwell or has been exposed to someone with COVID-19 in the 10 days leading up to your session, Mel Anne asks that you please refrain from attending. Please be aware that in most cases this will still result in a forfeiture of your payment. Mel Anne will also not be held liable should anyone contract the virus after his/her session is complete. 


A maximum of (6) total people may be involved in these sessions. Groups with more than (6) should reach out directly to Mel Anne todiscuss other options. Full group poses will be focused on; if time allows, small groups (i.e just kids, just parents, etc.) may also be photographed, however, this is not guaranteed. Pets are not allowed. If interested in this option to include them, please contact me to schedule a full family session with pet(s) inclusion. If more than (6) people arrive for your session, Mel Anne reserves the right to refuse to photograph your crew and payment will be forfeited.

If any equipment (camera, lens, props, blankets, etc) suffers damage as a result of uncontrolled children or other client behavior during the session, the cost to replace or repair the damaged items will be the client responsibility.
